It has been a hot summer in The South Hemisphere, so it' s a good place to travel and for the models to get a great tan. I had the chance to use two new cameras - the Canon EOS 70D and the Nikon D7100. I spent many years using an analogic German camera, the Pentacon Praktika MTL3 ( if I remember well) along with many Kodak cheaper cameras. I always was a Canon fan, and when the digital era came, after using a Casio digital that I bought in Tokyo ( one of the first, very hard to use because the software was written in Japanese) , a Sony Mavica ( that recorded the images in floppy disks) , Olympus, Hewlett- Packard , Fujifilm , I started using Canon Cameras. One of the most used was an EOS 600D (T3i in America, I think). But it had a lot of limitations, and I decided , instead of buying one full-frame, to buy two cameras, one Canon and one Nikon, to test both and see which one was better. That was because I saw so many great photos by some friends here taken with a Nikon. And... It seems to me that the Nikon is better. Of course, there are many, many great photos taken even with cell phones, but it seems to me, at least for now, that the photos taken with the Nikon in the last trip look better than the others. Not that I am abandoning Canon. I bought too many filters and accessories to do that... but probably in the next trip, if I have some problem with excess of luggage, I will choose the Nikon.
